Wilson’s Lawn and Maintenance is a well-regarded and growing lawn mowing and garden maintenance business servicing Brisbane’s southside.

We are looking for a reliable Lawn & Garden Maintenance Team Member to work alongside the owner and existing team across residential properties and selected maintenance sites.

This role suits someone who is physically capable, switched on, calm under pressure and takes pride in neat work. Previous lawn maintenance, garden, landscaping or similar hands-on experience is highly regarded, but you do not need years of formal industry experience if you have the right practical ability, attitude and willingness to learn.

You should already have basic familiarity with mowing and whipper snipper use and be comfortable working outdoors in a physically demanding role.

For the right person, there is genuine chance to become increasingly independent and take on greater responsibility as the business and team continue to grow.

About the role

- Work alongside the owner and existing team
- Lawn mowing, whipper snipping, edging and blow downs
- Garden maintenance, pruning and hedge trimming
- Green waste handling, site tidy-up and general outdoor labour
- Lawn care, weed control and other property maintenance services as required
- Help maintain a high standard of finish across each property
- Set up, pack down and look after tools and equipment
- Learn our systems, workflow and expectations
- Take on greater independence and responsibility as your capability develops

The role will initially be approximately 2 days per week, with potential for additional work depending on performance, availability, workload and business growth.

Experience

- Previous lawn mowing, gardening, landscaping or grounds maintenance experience is highly regarded
- Experience in construction, trades, property maintenance or other physically demanding hands-on work will also be considered favourably
- Basic familiarity with mowing, whipper snipping and outdoor power equipment is strongly preferred
- Formal lawn mowing, gardening or landscaping experience is not essential if you have strong practical ability, good judgement, the right attitude and willingness to learn
