Senior Commercial Lawyer | Partnership Pathway An established ~$1m commercial practice. Existing clients. Existing workflow. And a genuine opportunity to take ownership of it.

We're working with a growing Brisbane law firm looking for an experienced commercial lawyer to step into and lead an established practice.

There is no requirement to bring a client following.

Instead, the firm is looking for someone who can take responsibility for an existing client base, build on strong referral relationships and identify opportunities to grow the practice from an already substantial platform.

The work is broad and includes:

- Business sales and acquisitions
- Commercial contracts
- Shareholder and structuring advice
- Corporate advisory work
- General commercial transactions The prospect will suit an experienced Senior Associate or Special Counsel who:
- Is technically strong and capable of running commercial matters autonomously
- Enjoys managing and developing junior lawyers
- Builds strong relationships with clients

- Is commercially minded and good at identifying opportunities
- Wants greater ownership of a practice and its future direction

This isn't about arriving with a book of clients. The opportunity is to inherit a successful practice and make it your own.

What's on offer

- Established ~$1m commercial practice and existing client base
- Strong internal and external referral networks
- Existing team and excellent operational support
- Genuine autonomy and leadership responsibility
- Clear pathway to Partnership
- Competitive remuneration and future profit-share opportunities For a senior commercial lawyer who feels ready to run a practice but hasn't yet been given the opportunity, this is a rare platform.
