THE ROLE

As a Team Leader, you’ll provide leadership, guidance and support to Social Workers and multidisciplinary teams while helping to ensure high-quality, culturally responsive and person-centred services.

Depending on the organisation and program, responsibilities may include:

- Providing clinical and professional supervision to Social Workers and support staff
- Leading and supporting a multidisciplinary team
- Managing complex cases and providing clinical guidance
- Supporting staff development, performance and wellbeing

ABOUT YOU

We are looking for experienced Social Workers who have strong clinical and leadership capabilities and are ready to take on a Team Leader position.
You will ideally have:

- A Bachelor or Master's qualification in Social Work
- AASW eligibility or accreditation
- Significant experience working within Social Work, community services, child & family, mental health or another relevant sector
- Previous experience in team leadership, supervision or service coordination, or demonstrated readiness to step into leadership
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to obtain a National Police Clearance
- Ability to obtain relevant Working with Children/Working with Vulnerable People clearances where required
- A commitment to culturally responsive, person-centred practice
