RAA

Adelaide

● Full-time permanent position based in Adelaide CBD reporting the Senior Manager AI Hub

● Lead the people side of RAA's AI transformation

● Build AI capability, drive adoption and champion change across the organisation

The Role

RAA is embarking on an ambitious AI-first transformation, embedding artificial intelligence as an operating principle across the organisation rather than treating it as a standalone technology initiative. As part of our newly established AI Hub, real value only comes when our people are equipped, confident and supported to work in new ways.

As the Capability & Change Lead, AI, you'll build AI capability across RAA and help individuals, teams and leaders successfully adopt new ways of working enabled by AI. You'll lead the people side of RAA's AI transformation, developing learning programs, driving adoption initiatives, building change readiness and supporting workforce transition as AI becomes embedded in everyday work.

Partnering with business leaders, People & Culture, the AI Hub and the AI Champions Network, you'll build a culture of experimentation, learning and continuous improvement, while making sure employees remain supported throughout change. From designing role-based learning pathways and change strategies, to growing our AI Champions Network and leading clear, practical communications, you'll be central to how AI becomes part of how RAA works, learns and grows.

This is a rare opportunity to shape the human side of AI adoption in one of South Australia's most trusted organisations.

About You

You're passionate about people and capability, and you understand that successful AI adoption depends as much on confidence, culture and change readiness as it does on the technology itself. You know how to bring people along on a journey of change, translating new ways of working into practical, everyday confidence.

We're looking for someone with:

● Demonstrated experience leading capability building or organisational change initiatives within a complex organisation

● Experience designing and delivering learning programs that build practical skills and confidence across a diverse workforce

● Experience leading change and adoption activities associated with new technology, systems or ways of working

● Experience establishing and growing networks or communities of practice that support ongoing capability and engagement

● Strong knowledge of change management and adoption methodologies and their practical application

● Sound understanding of learning design principles and how to build capability across varied audiences

● Well-developed communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build trust and support behavioural change

● A tertiary qualification in Organisational Psychology, Human Resources, Business, Learning & Development or a related field; certification in change management (such as Prosci or ADKAR) or in learning design or facilitation is highly regarded

When you join RAA, you'll find more than just a capability and change role:

● The chance to lead the people side of a genuine, organisation-wide AI transformation

● The ability to build and grow RAA's AI Champions Network from the ground up

● A chance to shape learning programs and change strategies that will define how RAA works for years to come

● The opportunity to partner closely with business leaders, People & Culture and the AI Hub on high-visibility initiatives

● A collaborative, purpose-driven setting where helping people grow is genuinely valued
