About the positionWe're looking for support workers who enjoy helping people build independence, confidence and genuine community connections.You'll be an important part of our team, valued for your unique strengths rather than treated as just a number.
We'll provide the guidance and support you need to feel confident and comfortable from day one.Your days will be varied and rewarding as you support people to live full and meaningful lives, including:Engaging people to pursue their goals and ambitionsTaking people out into the community and participating in community events and activities togetherDriving people to community events,



appointments and shoppingSupporting people to achieve their individual goals in line with their person-centered support planBuilding people's capacity to perform domestic duties such as with cooking, cleaning, laundry and general tidyingAssisting people with their personal hygiene and specific care needsPerforming within your scope of practice and training levelMaintain positive professional relationships and communications between clients and fellow staff membersWhat you'll needSelf-motivated and able to work independentlyAbility to show initiative and problem solve as requiredDrivers license and insuranceFirst Aid & CPR (or willing to obtain)Disability Worker Screening & Working with Children Check (or willing to obtain)Why work for us?
