Passionate about inspiring future teachers and early childhood professionals? We are seeking an innovative and collaborative Lecturer who is passionate about excellence in teaching, curriculum design and pedagogical practice. Dedicated to advancing the field of Early Childhood, you will contribute to high-quality teaching, impactful research, and meaningful engagement across our Initial Teacher Education and Bachelor of Education and Master of Education programs.

This role offers the opportunity to inspire future educators across diverse learning contexts - including regional, rural, and remote settings - while contributing to locally grounded, globally relevant research and curriculum design that supports transformational educational outcomes.

What you'll do

As a Lecturer within the School of Education and Creative Arts, you will play an important role in delivering high-quality learning and teaching outcomes while contributing to the University's research and engagement objectives. In this role, you will:

- Deliver engaging and reflective student-centred teaching methods across face-to-face and blended modes leveraging digital technologies
- Conduct research activities that produce high-quality outputs and generate research income.
- Support the development of research teams and mentor HDR students.
- Contribute to a positive workplace and culture through internal service while also making significant external contributions to the community and profession.
- Actively engage in professional development activities and maintain currency in contemporary learning, teaching, and research approaches.

- Lecturer (Teaching and Research)
- Lecturer (Education Specialist)

you will combine your academic expertise with a genuine commitment to student success and professional collaboration.

You will ideally have

- It is essential you hold a doctoral or master’s qualification or equivalent accreditation and standing in the relevant discipline.
- Australian Children’s Education and Care Quality Authority (ACECQA) registration and Teacher registration within an Australian Authority or capacity to apply for teacher registration and working with children check.
- Demonstrated teaching and research expertise in Curriculum and Pedagogy - Early Childhood.
- Demonstrated experience in delivering engaged and reflective approaches to teaching that produce the best possible outcomes for students.
- Demonstrated experience in engaging in research that provides the opportunity to collaborate with others, seeks to attract funding to support research, advances knowledge, and engages with industry.
- High level oral and written communication and interpersonal skills, relating well to people at all levels using diplomacy, tact and sound judgement, with an ability to build constructive and effective relationships.

Term: Full-time, Continuing appointment (37.5 hours/week)

Salary: Total remuneration range $137,920.92 to $163,017.48 pa (includes salary range of $116,315.34 to $137,480.48 pa, employer super contributions of 17% and annual leave loading)
