Looking for your next move in helicopter maintenance?
Corsaire Aviation is looking for an experienced CASA Part 66 B1.3 Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Jandakot Airport, Western Australia. We know experienced CASA-licensed helicopter engineers are in demand, so we’re not looking to fill a seat. We’re looking for the right person to become a valued part of our operation.
This is an opportunity to work in a close-knit aviation environment where your experience, judgement and technical knowledge are respected, and where you can have a genuine impact on the reliability and availability of the aircraft you maintain.
The role
Working from our Jandakot facility, you will be involved in the maintenance, inspection, troubleshooting and certification of turbine helicopters in accordance with CASA requirements and company procedures. Depending on your experience, the role will include:
- Scheduled and unscheduled helicopter maintenance
- Fault finding and defect rectification
- Aircraft inspections and component changes
- Maintenance certification and release-to-service activities within the scope of your licence and authorisations
- Maintaining high standards of airworthiness, safety and documentation
- Working closely with our maintenance and operational teams to keep aircraft serviceable and available
- Providing technical input and sharing your experience with the wider team
- Occasional travel may be required to support aircraft maintenance and operational requirements
What we're looking for
Essential:
- Current CASA Part 66 B1.3 Aircraft Engineer Licence
- Demonstrated experience maintaining turbine helicopters
- Strong fault-finding and practical maintenance skills
- High standards of workmanship and attention to detail
- Sound understanding of aircraft maintenance documentation and regulatory requirements
- A professional,
safety-focused and practical approach
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a small team
Highly regarded:
- Eurocopter / Airbus AS355 type rating
- Previous AS355 maintenance experience
- Experience in a varied helicopter operating environment
- Additional helicopter type ratings or maintenance capabilities
Why Corsaire Aviation?
For the right engineer, we want this to be more than simply another maintenance position. You’ll be joining an aviation business where experienced engineers are trusted to do their job, technical knowledge is valued and you can work closely with the people responsible for both maintaining and operating the aircraft.
We offer
- Jandakot-based position
- A varied and hands-on helicopter maintenance environment
- The chance to work with and take ownership of aircraft rather than being just another number
- A supportive and experienced aviation team
- Scope to broaden your experience and responsibilities
- Competitive remuneration tailored to the experience, licence coverage and type ratings you bring
- An employer willing to have a genuine conversation with the right candidate about what will make the opportunity attractive
Already employed and not actively looking?
We understand that good licensed helicopter engineers are rarely sitting around waiting for a job advertisement. If you hold a CASA B1.3 licence and are interested in hearing what Corsaire Aviation could offer, we would still like to hear from you.
All enquiries will be treated confidentially.
If you have an AS355 rating, even better — but if you’re the right B1.3 engineer without it, we still encourage you to get in touch.
Interested?
Apply through SEEK with your CV and a brief summary of your current CASA licence and aircraft type ratings. We’d be happy to have an initial confidential conversation about the role, our operation and what you’re looking for in your next position.
