Ablett Mechanical & Contracting is looking for a Light Vehicle Mechanic to join our workshop team in Cowaramup.
We’re looking for someone who enjoys working on late-model 4WDs and modern vehicles, takes pride in their workmanship and is keen to be part of a hands-on, local business.
The Role
You’ll primarily be working on:
- Late-model 4WDs and light vehicles
- Servicing and general mechanical repairs
- Fault finding and diagnostics
- Preventative maintenance
- Mechanical repairs and component replacement
- Modern diagnostic equipment and technology
There’s also the option to learn and develop your skills working on trucks and earthmoving equipment if that’s something you’re interested in.
You don’t need experience with heavy equipment — we’re happy to help the right person learn.
About You
We’re looking for a mechanic who is:
- Qualified as a Light Vehicle Mechanic
- Experienced with modern vehicles and 4WDs
- Reliable and takes pride in their work
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Practical, motivated and keen to learn
- Interested in expanding their skills into trucks and earthmoving equipment
What We Offer
- $40–$60 per hour super, depending on experience
- Monday to Friday
- Flexible working hours to suit the right person
