The Client:

We are currently representing a global energy technology and battery storage organisation that is expanding its operations in Australia.

We are looking for a Logistics Officer with experience managing the movement, storage and coordination of battery energy storage systems (BESS) and/or dangerous goods across complex supply chains.

About the Role

You will play an important role in coordinating the end-to-end logistics of battery storage equipment, ensuring materials are transported, stored and delivered safely, efficiently and in accordance with relevant requirements.

Key responsibilities include

- Coordinate domestic and international transportation of BESS equipment and components
- Manage logistics activities from supplier through to project site
- Coordinate freight forwarders, transport providers, warehouses and other logistics partners
- Manage documentation associated with dangerous goods and specialised freight
- Coordinate delivery schedules and ensure equipment arrives on time and in the required condition
- Monitor shipments, resolve delays and proactively manage logistics issues
- Support import/export and customs processes where required
- Maintain accurate logistics records, documentation and tracking information
- Work closely with project, warehouse, procurement and operations teams




- Support the safe handling, storage and transportation of batteries and other regulated goods
- Identify opportunities to improve logistics processes, cost efficiency and delivery performance

About You We are particularly interested in candidates with hands-on experience in BESS logistics and/or dangerous goods, including:

- Experience in logistics, freight, supply chain or project logistics
- Experience handling or coordinating BESS, lithium-ion batteries or other dangerous goods is highly desirable
- Strong understanding of dangerous goods transportation and handling requirements
- Experience coordinating freight across multiple stakeholders and service providers
- Robust attention to detail, particularly around logistics and compliance documentation
- Ability to manage multiple shipments, priorities and deadlines simultaneously
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Good problem-solving and coordination capabilities
- Experience within energy storage, batteries, industrial equipment, heavy equipment or other technical industries will be highly regarded
