About the Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Diesel Technician, Truck Technician or Commercial Vehicle Technician to join our high-performing workshop team at Mercedes-Benz Berwick.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone currently working on heavy trucks who wants to transition into lighter commercial vehicle work without leaving the diesel and commercial automotive industry.
Working on Mercedes-Benz Vans, you will diagnose, service, repair and maintain a range of premium commercial vehicles while delivering high-quality workmanship and excellent customer outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Service,
maintain and repair Mercedes-Benz commercial vans
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical and driveline faults
- Use advanced diagnostic equipment and workshop technology
- Complete repairs efficiently and to manufacturer standards
- Maintain a high level of workmanship and attention to detail
- Work collaboratively with Service Advisors and fellow Technicians
- Participate in ongoing Mercedes-Benz training and development
- Stay current with evolving vehicle systems and technology
About You
You may currently be working as a:
- Heavy Vehicle Technician
- Light Vehicle Technician with commercial vehicle experience
- Motor Mechanic looking to develop your diesel expertise
To succeed in this role, you will bring:
- A recognised Automotive Technician or Motor Mechanic qualification
- Experience working on trucks, diesel vehicles, vans or commercial vehicles
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding capabilities
- Experience using up-to-date diagnostic systems and software
- A commitment to quality workmanship
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A current Victorian Driver’s Licence
Previous Mercedes-Benz experience is not essential. Your truck, diesel or commercial vehicle experience can provide a strong foundation for transitioning into premium commercial van servicing.
Successful applicants must complete a National Police Check.
