Machine Operator – Manufacturing / Metal Finishing
Advanced Zinc Platers is looking for a reliable and hardworking Machine Operator to join our production team.
Key responsibilities include:
- Operating sandblasting equipment
- Air cleaning and drying of finished components
- Operating overhead hoists for safe movement of jobs
- Packing and preparing finished goods for dispatch
- Sequencing jobs based on production priorities
- Assisting with loading, unloading and general production activities
- Maintaining a clean and safe work area
- Following workplace safety procedures and supervisor instructions
What we are looking for:
- Previous experience in manufacturing, metal finishing, sandblasting or machine operation preferred
- Experience operating overhead hoists is advantageous
- Physically fit and comfortable handling metal components
- Valuable attention to detail and quality
- Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team
- Willingness to learn and assist across different production activities
