EESA is an Australian-owned, power cable and accessories, design and supply company specializing in supply and distribution of medium voltage and high voltage power cables and applications. With more than 16years of experience servicing and supporting our customers in Australia across Renewable Energy, Utilities, Infrastructure, Rail, Resources & Construction industry sectors. EESA has been involved with over fifty renewable energy projects right across Australia and is currently looking to expand and further grow our business across other industry sectors.

As we continue our exciting growth, we are building a team with highly talented individual contributors. The Machine Operator is one of many such roles that will be recruited over the coming months as we continue to build our team.

Duties and Responsibilities

- Operate cable cutting, measuring and handling machinery safely and efficiently.
- Accurately measure and cut cables to specified lengths and production requirements.
- Set up and adjust cable cutting equipment according to cable type, size and required length.
- Read and understand work instructions, cable schedules, cutting lists and production documentation.
- Verify cable type, size, length, drum number and other relevant information before cutting.
- Handle, move and position cable drums using forklifts and other warehouse equipment.
- Load and unload cable drums and materials safely.
- Assist with cable winding, drum preparation, labelling and packaging.
- Maintain accurate records of cable quantities, lengths, drum numbers and production activities.
- Conduct quality checks during and after the cutting process.
- Identify damaged cables, incorrect materials, measurement discrepancies or equipment issues and report them promptly.




- Perform basic troubleshooting and adjustments to machinery where appropriate.
- Use hand tools and basic mechanical equipment safely.
- Maintain a clean, organised and protected work area.
- Follow all company safety procedures, PPE requirements and manual- handling procedures.
- Assist with general warehouse and production activities as required.
- Operate Cable Crimping Machine
- Operate Cable Stripping Machine
- Operate Connector Tightening Machine

Ideal Candidate Shall Have
- Previous experience in warehouse, manufacturing, production or cable- related environments preferable.
- A current Forklift Licence (LF).
- Good physical fitness and the ability to safely handle and work around heavy cable drums and materials.
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Good numerical and measurement skills.
- The ability to read and understand basic technical information, specifications or work instructions.
- Practical knowledge of using hand tools and basic mechanical equipment.
- Good understanding of workplace health and safety requirements.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliability, punctuality and a strong work ethic.
- Proactive rather than waiting to be told what to do
- Organised and Willing to learn
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment
- Know how using measuring equipment such as tape measures, cable length counters or digital measuring systems.
- Full working right

Job Type: Full-time Pay: $55,000.00 – $65,000.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate

- Laverton VIC: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
