Tecside have multiple positions available for FIXED PLANT MAINTENANCE FITTERS.
Temp to permanent positions so MUST have PERMANENT RESIDENCY.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Carry out preventative and corrective maintenance across production machinery and equipment.
- Diagnose mechanical faults and complete repairs to minimise downtime and production disruption.
- Support machine start-ups, shutdowns, commissioning and boiler attendance as required.
- Use CMMS and digital reporting tools to record maintenance activities, defects, hazards and follow-up actions.
- Work closely with Production and Maintenance teams to prioritise repairs and ensure machinery is available when needed.
What We’re Looking For
- Relevant mechanical trade qualification and practical maintenance experience.
- Experience working with converting or industrial machinery, including sensors, PLCs and servo drives.
- Solid mechanical fault-finding and diagnostic skills, with the ability to respond quickly to breakdowns.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, equipment manuals and relevant standards.
