Maintenance Officer

Harbour Town Adelaide | Full-Time

Harbour Town Adelaide is seeking a proactive and hands-on Maintenance Officer to join our Centre Management team. This role is responsible for maintaining the presentation, functionality, and safety of the centre while delivering a high standard of service to retailers, contractors, and visitors.

About the Role

Reporting to the Centre Manager, you will play a key role in the day-to-day maintenance and upkeep of Harbour Town Adelaide. You will undertake a variety of maintenance activities, coordinate contractors, and identify opportunities to improve the centre's presentation and operations.

Key Responsibilities

· Undertake general maintenance and repair work across the centre

· Complete maintenance tasks promptly and efficiently.

· Proactively identify and address maintenance and presentation issues

· Assist with obtaining quotes and coordinating maintenance works.

· Liaise with contractors and ensure all required inductions, permits, insurances, and certifications are in place.

· Undertake routine painting and presentation works.

· Inspect and repair pavers and trip hazards.

· Maintain Pavelock and undertake minor plumbing repairs.

· Conduct roof and gutter inspections, cleaning, and accessible leak repairs.

· Support preventative maintenance programs.

· Assist with centre events and marketing activities when required.

About You

You are a reliable, practical, and customer-focused maintenance professional who enjoys working in a busy team workplace.

Essential Requirements

· Current Driver's Licence.

· Elevated Work Platform (EWP) qualification.





· Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar maintenance role.

· Strong attention to detail and a professional approach.

· Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills.

· Reliable, punctual, and willing to support others

Desirable

· Experience within a retail or shopping centre environment.

· WHS experience and understanding of safe work practices

· Experience coordinating and managing trades and contractors.

· Skills in painting, paving repairs, plumbing, and general maintenance.
