Red Arrow Australia are seeking experienced and safety conscious Maintenance Technicians for our Tier 1 client in the Pilbara on a casual basis.

The Maintenance Technician plays a critical part in undertaking the requisite planned maintenance activities, troubleshooting/resolving breakdowns, and deploying best-practice long term solutions to increase reliability

Key Responsibilities:

- Use high-level fault-finding skills to evaluate maintenance breakdowns
- Ensure all preventable and scheduled maintenance is completed
- Consult with mobile maintenance teams to determine equipment operating and maintenance needs
- Upgrade and expand existing systems and features
- Integrate machines and systems using different control hardware
- Develop continuous improvement initiatives

Experience/Skills Required:

- Previous experience in a similar role within the mining or heavy industry.
- Proficiency in using relevant tools and performing general maintenance duties.
- Familiarity with workshop and field environments.
- Experience in diagnosing and resolving mechanical issues and understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
- Ability to read and interpret instruction or guidelines.
- Experience in collaborating with maintenance teams to achieve schedule maintenance.
- In-depth knowledge of safety standards and procedures, including risk assessments and hazard identification.
- Familiarity with maintenance protocols for heavy mobile equipment facility.
- Strong organisational and record-keeping skills.




- Solid communication skills for precise written handovers and effective teamwork.
- Competence in managing time effectively to complete tasks within set timeframes.

Qualifications:

- Australian recognised Trade Qualification or Certificate II in Automotive Servicing Technology
- High-Risk Work License (HRWL)
- Valid C Class driver's license.

Flights from Perth to site, and site to Perth covered - Interstate/overseas flights to Perth are not covered. All meals and accommodation are provided.

If you are successful for this position you will need to provide acurrent national police clearance, no older than 3 months, and pass a full heavy medical.

Must have full rights to work in Australia.
