We're looking for a Management Accountant who can balance technical expertise with commercial thinking and strong stakeholder relationships.
Your work won't sit in a spreadsheet gathering dust. You'll partner with leaders across the organisation, helping them understand the story behind the numbers and make informed decisions that support meaningful outcomes for people experiencing homelessness and disadvantage.
You'll be the person turning data into insights, budgets into action plans, and financial reports into something people actually want to read. You'll challenge thinking, ask great questions, and help leaders make sense of what's happening today while planning for tomorrow.
What You'll Get Up To
- Turn financial data into meaningful insights and recommendations.
- Prepare monthly management reports that help leaders make informed decisions.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting and financial planning activities.
- Help managers understand what's driving performance, and where opportunities and risks may be hiding.
- Build financial models, dashboards and business cases that support strategic initiatives.
- Improve systems, reporting and processes so we spend less time wrestling spreadsheets and more time adding value.
What You'll Bring
- CPA or CA qualification (or be close to crossing the finish line).
- Experience in a Management Accountant, Financial Accountant, or similar role.
- Strong budgeting, forecasting, reporting and analytical skills.
- Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with financial systems.
- The ability to turn complex financial information into clear, practical advice.
- A naturally curious mindset and a habit of asking "why?" before jumping to conclusions.
What’s in it for you?
- Pay: Competitive salary, plus NFP salary packaging giving you the potential to gain $18,500 in tax advantages
- Leave: 23 days annual leave, that’s 3 days more than the standard 4 weeks (pro-rata based on the contract)
- Location: Based in East Perth, right next to Claisebrook train station. Plus, our office is co-located with our residences, offering a unique workplace where you see our impact in the lives of others every day.
- Hours: 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
- Career development: Training, accessible leaders, growth and advancement opportunities
- Culture: Exceptional workplace culture – we work hard and have fun while we do it
