We are seeking qualified Home Care Workers to work in Home Support.
This is a part time position, 16 hours per week.About UsEast Grampians Health Service (EGHS) Community Services aim to meet the needs of the community by offering a vast array of services to the community in Ararat and surrounding districts.
We offer outpatient, outreach and domiciliary services.
Our services include Allied Health, Dental, Community Nursing, Support at Home, Patricia Hinchey Centre and Home Care Services.
These services support other clinical areas including our acute and residential aged care consumers.
Our Community Health Centre also accommodates Maternal Child and Health Services and consultation rooms for visiting medical, surgical and clinical services.Ongoing career development and career opportunitiesAbout The RoleYou will assist participants to maintain their independence and provide ongoing domestic, personal and social support to people living in the community.
In addition,



you will support carers of people who are frail aged including people with dementia and people with a disability or mental health condition.The role will incorporate travel to clients' homes and various locations within the region involving but not limited toPersonal care, showering, dressing and cookingDomestic services; cleaning, grocery shopping and socialising (non-qualified applicants)Escort to medical appointmentsAssist with medicationsAbout YouOur ideal candidates will:Be caring and compassionate natureHave a high level of attention to detailBe committed to confidentiality and have a high level of integrityHold a Certificate III in Aged Care/Home and Community Care/Individual Support/DisabilityHave a current First Aid Certificate andHold a current and valid driver's licenceAppointment is subject to immunisation clearance and current and satisfactory Employment Checks (Police and Working With Children Checks and NDIS Worker Screening Check).
