These shifts will involve supporting our clients by providing daily assistance in their home and/or out in the community, allowing them to live as independently as possible.
This can include support with personal care, administration of medication, meal preparation, manual handling, daily routines, achieving goals, community access and support with household tasks.What do I need?
Proven experience in a similar Disability Support Worker roleRecognised relevant qualificationsExcellent communication and solid administrative skillsCaring, compassionate and positive attitudeA registered,
insured car and driver's licenceCurrent training certificates in First Aid, CPR, Manual Handing and MedicationThe following would also be highly valued:Willingness to work 2-hour shiftsAvailability to work early morningsExperience in manual handling and supporting people with spinal cord injuriesExperience working with younger people who have experienced traumaExperience working with people with mental ill health or psychosocial disabilityExperience in working with people who have profound autismAll applicants must have the relevant mandatory screening clearances, hold relevant industry standard training certificates and qualifications and be willing to complete all required pre-employment training modules and induction sessions.ONCALL Group Australia is committed to child safety, safeguarding and zero tolerance.
