Ongoing, full time (35 hrs/week)
Clerk Grade 7/8 - $116,981 to $129,492 plus superannuation + annual leave loading
Office location is versatile across Revenue NSW offices in Parramatta, Gosford, Maitland, Lithgow, or Wollongong - Hybrid and Flexible working arrangements available

About Us
The Advisor Engagement role sits within Revenue NSW.
We are the state's principal revenue management agency and are a part of the Department of Customer Service (DCS).
We manage taxes, fines, debts and administer grants in a fair, efficient and timely manner.
Through this we give back to the community and fund essential State services for the people of NSW.
This is a unique opportunity to join our Land Tax Stakeholder Management and Engagement team.
Our team has a high public profile, which delivers information, education, and support to a broad range of stakeholders, industries, and communities.
About the role
As an Advisor Engagement you will:
Support education events and forums by assisting with content design, logistics, preparation, and delivery.
Collaborate with subject matter experts to develop content and deliver effective engagement materials across a range of channels and technologies to support organisational objectives.
Develop and implement engagement approaches to inform and engage stakeholders on relevant issue through timely and effective communications.
Liaise with a range of stakeholders to identify opportunities to build public trust and inform engagement and communication strategies.
Stay abreast of current issues and trends impacting relevant stakeholders, industries, communities, and organisational delivery.
Apply insights from engagement activities to respond to emerging stakeholder issues and interests.
Assist in resolving escalations and enquiries from both external and internal stakeholders.
Important:
This role involves occasional travel, including regional travel that may require extended periods away from home over consecutive days.
Applicants must hold a current Class C driver's licence and be prepared to undertake long-distance travel as required.




The position may also require work outside of standard business hours, including evenings and weekends, to meet operational needs.
In addition, the role involves a moderate level of physical activity and manual handling.
This includes lifting and carrying equipment, operating a manual trolley, and loading and unloading vehicles.
About You
To be successful in this position you will:
Be confident in presenting and speaking in front of large audiences, including high profile professionals and executives.
Have a flexible approach to work, the ability to collaborate effectively and work autonomously, and have a genuine willingness to learn and adapt.
Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail.
Have a customer focused mindset and strive to put the customer at the forefront of everything you do.
Be approachable and personable, have excellent relationship management skills, and be confident in building and maintaining professional networks.
Adept knowledge and experience with the administration of NSW Government taxes and grants is desirable.
Knowledge of the property industry or government processes is an advantage but not essential.
Essential requirements
Tertiary qualifications in an appropriate discipline; or equivalent relevant industry experience.
Working at DCS
35-hour working week, with opportunities for flex leave where additional hours are worked
