About the opportunity
n
We are looking for a Graduate Engineer to join our precontracts team assisting with the building and delivery of tenders on energy infrastructure projects across Australia and Recent Zealand.
n
This role will be based in our head office in Hamilton, surrounded by some of the most innovative minds in the energy infrastructure industry, offering a supportive environment of learning and development.

Key Responsibilities
n
n
Support the precontracts team with the analysis of technical information, calculations and project planning on assigned projects.
n
Assist in preparing project deliverables, tender documentation, design documentation and specifications in line with company standards to meet client requirements.
n
Assume responsibility for minor phases of broader project assignments, delivering them accurately and within the agreed timeframe.
n
Build relationships with the project teams and across the wider business to support shared project outcomes.
n
Engage in continuous learning, stay current with industry technology trends and contribute to the shared knowledge of the team.

What you'll bring
n
n
Bachelor's degree in a relevant Engineering discipline (Civil, Electrical, Mechanical or related), completed within last 2 years ideally.
n
Strong analytical, problem-solving and written communication skills.
n
Ability to apply basic theoretical knowledge of engineering principles to analyse, interpret and conclude on standard matters or decisions.
n
Good time management skills.
n
Desire to succeed as part of a team to achieve shared objectives.
n
Desirable: internship, vacation or site experience in construction, utilities, energy or infrastructure.
n
Desirable: exposure to substation, HV, transmission, distribution or renewable energy projects.
n
