We're looking for a talented
Aged Care Accountant
with Accounts Receivable experience to join our high-performing team in the Not-for-Profit and Aged Care sector. Use your accounting expertise and customer service skills to help deliver positive outcomes, for both our organisation and the clients we care for.
n
While the role is primarily based at our Support Office in Chatswood, flexibility and a willingness to work at different locations are essential to support key stakeholders.
n
This role reports directly to the Finance Manager, and you'll work closely with our broader team across the state.
Key Responsibilities n
n
Prepare and post journals on Epicor
n
Assist in preparing the monthly profit and loss, Balance Sheet and cashflow reports
n
Assist with funding reconciliations and grant acquittals
n
Assist with billing and support accounting for collections
n
Assist with forecasts and budgeting as required
n
Complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations
n
Help manage the asset stock take projects
n
Assist with audit and tax processes
n
What We're Looking For n
n
Proven Experience:




Minimum 5 years of accounting and accounts receivable experience within an aged care organisation
n
Skilled Qualification:
CA or CPA qualification (or actively working towards one)
n
Regulatory Knowledge:
Understanding of aged care standards, legislation and funding models
n
Stakeholder Engagement:
Ability to liaise confidently with Centrelink, Services Australia, TAG, older-adult rights bodies, residents and their families
n
