Job Description
This is a fantastic opportunity to join an established Family Law practice where junior and mid-level lawyers are given real responsibility, plenty of client exposure and the opportunity to build their skills across the full spectrum of Family Law.
n
You'll work across parenting, property, IVOs, child support and complex family law litigation, with the opportunity to be involved from the very beginning of a matter through to resolution. What you'll get: n
n
Genuinely hands-on experience
- You'll be involved at every stage of your matters and given the chance to develop your skills quickly.
n
Broad Family Law practice
- a outstanding mix of parenting, property, IVO, child support and litigation work, with plenty of variety across your day.
n
Strong team environment
- an approachable, collaborative team where asking questions is encouraged and lawyers work closely together rather than being left to figure things out alone.
n
Established and stable practice
- a long-standing Family Law practice with a strong reputation and very low staff turnover.
n
6-hour daily billable target
with a strong flow of work coming through the door.
n
Progression is encouraged
- there is a genuine opportunity to grow your career within the practice as you develop.
n
Hybrid flexibility
- once you're established and have completed probation, you'll have the option to work from home one day per week.
n
Beautiful working environment
- a refurbished two-level church in Hawthorn, close to public transport with convenient parking nearby.
n
Modern approach
- progressive thinking, up-to-date technology and equipment,
and a team that genuinely values maintaining a positive workplace culture.
