Job Description
Workforce Extensions Ballarat is currently looking for multiple reliable people to join an established food manufacturing business located around 30 minutes north west of Ballarat.

This is a hands on role where forklift driving will make up a big part of your day, along with some manual work and operating basic production and processing equipment.
n
The roster is an important part of the role. You'll rotate through a week of day shift, afternoon shift and night shift, with weekend work also included.
The roster n
Week 1: 7am to 3pm
n
Week 2: 3pm to 11pm
n
Week 3: 11pm to 7am
n
Then it starts again.
n
The roles offer full time hours for a minimum three month period, with the potential for ongoing work for the right people.
What you'll be doing n
n
Forklift driving and moving materials and finished product
n
Loading and unloading
n
Some manual handling and general production work
n
Operating basic production and processing machinery
n
Working as part of a production team
n
Following safety and production procedures
n
Keeping your work area clean and tidy
n
What we're looking for n
n
Current LF Forklift Licence and good forklift experience
n
Previous experience in warehousing, manufacturing, production or a similar environment
n
Someone who is reliable and turns up ready to work
n
Comfortable doing physical work and manual handling
n
Able to follow instructions and work well as part of a team
n
Positive attitude towards safety
n
Available to work the full rotating roster, including weekends
n
A few things you should know n
This is a dusty working environment and the role can be physically demanding.
n
The shifts change each week, so this isn't a role where you'll be working the same shift all the time. You need to be genuinely comfortable working days, afternoons and nights.
