Summary n
As we grow our presence in Australia, we're looking for a Field Service Engineer to join our expanding team in
Melbourne
. You'll be the face of STERIS in Victoria, installing, maintaining, and repairing cutting edge
Endoscopy
,
Operating Theatre
, and
Infection Control
equipment. Your work will directly support hospitals and clinics in delivering safe, high quality care.
What You Will Do n
n
Install, maintain, and repair STERIS medical equipment.
n
Deliver exceptional customer support onsite, by phone, and via email.
n
Diagnose faults and perform urgent repairs (including after-hours on-call rotation).
n
Provide user training and technical guidance.
n
Maintain accurate service records and manage spare parts inventory.
n
Identify and recommend training needs and process improvements.
n
Requirements n
n
Trade/Technical Certificate or Diploma with hands‐on technical service experience.
n
Restricted Electrical License or Full Electrical License.
n




Solid troubleshooting and repair skills.
n
Valid driver's license and own vehicle (car allowance provided).
n
Willingness to travel across WA and work flexible hours.
n
Self‐motivated with strong decision‐making skills.
n
Preferred n
n
Previous field service experience.
n
Proficiency with Windows and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
n
Customer focused mindset and strong communication skills.
n
