Bedrock Mining Equipment is seeking a skilled Painter / Blaster to join our team in Mackay, QLD.
In this full-time position, you will be responsible for the preparation and painting of our mining equipment, ensuring it is maintained to the highest standards.
What you'll be doing
Preparing surfaces for painting through blasting and other methods
Applying high-quality paints and coatings to mining equipment and machinery
Ensuring a consistent, skilled finish on all painted surfaces
Troubleshooting and resolving any issues that arise during the painting process
Adhering to all safety protocols and procedures
Maintaining a clean and organised work environment
What we're looking for
Extensive experience as a Painter / Blaster, ideally in the mining or heavy equipment industry
Minimum 5-8 years of painting and blasting experience required
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
Ability to work safely and efficiently, both independently and as part of a team
Knowledge of industry-standard paints,



coatings, and surface preparation techniques
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Willingness to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Australian permanent residency required for this position
