About the role

Victor Harbor Golf Club Inc is seeking a part-time Marketing and Membership Services Officer to join our team at our location in Victor Harbor, SA 5211. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in promoting our golf club, enhancing member engagement, and driving membership growth. You will be instrumental in developing and executing marketing strategies whilst providing exceptional service to our valued members.

This position offers the flexibility of part time work, allowing you to balance your professional responsibilities with other commitments.

Key responsibilities

- Develop and implement comprehensive marketing campaigns to promote the golf club's facilities, services, and membership benefits

- Manage the club's digital presence, including social media channels, website updates, and email marketing communications

- Create engaging marketing content including newsletters, promotional materials, and event announcements

- Handle member enquiries and provide exceptional customer service to current and prospective members

- Process membership applications and maintain accurate member records and databases

- Coordinate and promote club events, tournaments, and social functions

- Liaise with club management and staff to ensure marketing initiatives align with club objectives

- Monitor membership trends and provide reporting on marketing campaign effectiveness

- Support retention strategies to maximise member satisfaction and loyalty

What we're looking for

- Proven experience in marketing, communications, or membership services, preferably within the sports, hospitality, or leisure industry

- Strong understanding of digital marketing tools and social media platforms

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to create compelling marketing content

- Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) systems and membership databases

- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively





- Strong organisational and administrative skills

- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and design software (Adobe Suite or similar) is advantageous
- A genuine enthusiasm for golf and understanding of the club industry is preferred

- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships with members and colleagues

- Flexibility and willingness to support events and activities outside standard hours when required
