Looking for a career in medicine beyond the hospital ward?
I'm partnering with a leading early-phase clinical research organisation to find a Medical Officer for their Melbourne unit. What you'll be doing
- Overseeing participant safety and clinical care across early-phase clinical trials
- Conducting medical assessments, eligibility reviews and procedures, including cannulation
- Acting as Co-Investigator, with the opportunity to act as Principal Investigator on delegated healthy-volunteer studies
- Working with a multidisciplinary team of research nurses, scientists and study coordinators
What you'll need:
- PGY3 or above
- Full, unconditional AHPRA registration, held for at least 2 years
- Recent clinical experience (within the last 2 years), including cannulation
- Advanced Life Support (ALS) training
- A genuine interest in a long-term career in clinical research
Desirable:
- GCP training within the last 2 years
- Previous clinical trials experience (not essential – full training provided)
Why this role?
- A structured career path into clinical research, with real progression to Principal Investigator responsibility
- A reliable, permanent position with a salary that reflects your postgraduate experience
- The chance to contribute to medicine at its cutting edge
