With continued growth in the Data Centre sector, we're looking for an experienced Modular Data Centre and Prefabrication Lead to develop and lead our modular design capability across the Asia Pacific data centre business.
Working as part of our APAC Data Centre team, you'll help establish a consistent approach to modularisation and prefabrication across projects, bringing together design, manufacturing, procurement and construction. You'll focus on practical solutions that improve programme certainty, safety, quality, cost control and repeatability.
You'll identify opportunities for off-site manufacture, preassembly and modular construction from the earliest stages of design, and help integrate solutions through fabrication, logistics, installation, commissioning and handover. These may include electrical rooms, power skids, cooling plant, pump skids, CDUs, prefabricated pipework, plantrooms, integrated MEP modules and packaged data centre systems.
Working with clients, project teams, manufacturers, OEMs, fabricators and system integrators, you'll help ensure modular solutions are practical to manufacture, transport, install, maintain and replace. You'll also help Jacobs grow its modular design capability through repeatable design approaches, guidance and mentoring.
You'll also

- Identify opportunities for off-site manufacture, preassembly and modular construction during concept and early design.
- Embed Design for Manufacture and Assembly (DfMA) principles into the design process.
- Coordinate requirements across electrical, mechanical, CSA, BIM, fire, controls, commissioning and construction teams.
- Ensure designs account for manufacturing tolerances, transport, lifting, site access, installation, maintenance and replacement.
- Build relationships with modular manufacturers, OEMs, fabricators and system integrators.
- Assess supplier capability, manufacturing capacity, quality systems and delivery risk.
- Develop repeatable details, specifications, design guides,
BIM content and modular reference solutions.

- UPS, battery and generator systems.
- Cooling and liquid-cooling systems.
- Prefabricated pipework, plant skids and integrated MEP modules.
