The Role

We are recruiting experienced Bakers with proven artisan bread experience to join our Head Baker and bakery team, helping us deliver our excellent and well-loved products to our community.

This is an early morning baking position, with shifts commencing from 2:00am. Candidates must be available and comfortable working these early morning hours on a regular basis.

The role is primarily focused on bread production, including the preparation, shaping, proving and baking of artisan breads. We are looking for candidates who take pride in their work and have a strong understanding of quality bakery production.

Our boulangerie operates 7 days a week, so flexibility around days of work is required.



The successful candidate will work closely with the Head Baker and wider bakery team to ensure production is completed to a high standard and on schedule.

We will also consider qualified Pastry Chefs with strong relevant bakery experience for roles within the operation.

Experience and Qualifications

- Minimum 3 years' experience in the baking industry
- Minimum 1 year of experience working with artisan breads
- Strong bakery and patisserie product knowledge
- Experience working in a high-volume bakery environment
- Strong time management and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must be available to commence work from 2:00am
- Must be comfortable working regular early morning shifts
- Flexibility to work across a 7-day operation
