We’re looking for responsible, organised, and adaptable individuals to join our team as Multi-Skilled Operators at our Sand Mine near Bundaberg.
About the Role
Reporting to the Operations Supervisor, you’ll work on-site at our Bundaberg facility on a variable roster aligned with production targets. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Ensuring compliance with OH&S; policies, procedures, and legislation
- Operating forklifts, front-end loaders, articulated dump trucks, and excavators
- Operating and maintaining screening and wash plants
- Loading bulk tankers, tipper trucks, and pallet trucks
- Bulk bagging and maintaining product quality throughout production
- Assisting with quality control, including work in the site lab
- Performing general labouring and housekeeping duties
- Providing basic maintenance support for mobile and fixed plant equipment
What We’re Looking For To be considered, you’ll need:
- Strong focus on safety, environmental standards,
and quality
- Competently operate a range of mobile plant
- Experience with packaging equipment in automated environments
Additional Requirements
- Forklift Ticket
- Physically fit for manual labour (pre-employment medical required)
- Availability for shift work, overtime, nights, and weekends
- Reliable, self-motivated, and professional
- Current driver’s licence and own transport
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Robust organisational skills and ability to prioritise tasks
- Proactive approach to operations
Highly Desirable
- Previous experience in mineral/ore processing
- Exposure to shift work
- Breakdown and preventative maintenance experience
- Tickets for articulated dump truck, excavator, front-end loader, and EWP
