Sugeh Designs is a growing home staging and furniture styling business servicing Melbourne’s south-east suburbs. We are looking for a reliable, hardworking and physically fit person to join our team on a casual basis.
The role involves helping with the delivery, setup, moving and collection of furniture and home décor for residential properties.
About the role
Your responsibilities will include
- Loading and unloading furniture and staging items
- Moving sofas, beds, tables, chairs and other furniture
- Delivering furniture to properties across Melbourne’s south-east
- Setting up furniture and décor according to the styling plan
- Collecting furniture after the rental period
- Moving furniture safely into and out of homes, garages and storage areas
- Keeping furniture and equipment clean and well looked after
- Working as part of a small, friendly team
- Following safe lifting and moving practices
What we are looking for The successful person will be:
- Reliable and punctual
- Physically fit and comfortable lifting and carrying furniture
- Hardworking and willing to get hands-on
- Careful with furniture and customers’ properties
- Friendly and professional
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Available for flexible casual work, including some mornings and weekdays
- Previous removalist, furniture moving, warehouse or staging experience is preferred but not essential
A driver’s licence is preferred.
