Location: Pennington, SA

Employment Type: Full-Time, Part-Time, or Casual

Remuneration:

- Permanent: $75,075 – $77,083.50 per annum
- Casual: $45.28 – $49.41 per hour

About the Role

We are seeking a responsive, dependable, and detailed NDIS Program - Assistant to provide core administrative and operational support to our Pennington team. Operating under the direct guidance of the NDIS Program Administrator and alongside the Care Coordinator, you will assist with day-to-day rostering adjustments, routine participant queries, and compliance tracking. Whether you are an experienced administrator looking to step into the disability sector or an early-career qualified with community services qualifications, this hands-on role offers excellent training, mentorship, and career growth.

Key Responsibilities

- Rostering Support:



Assist with routine schedule updates, process shift cancellations, and arrange replacement cover for unexpected absences.
- Credential & Compliance Tracking: Monitor, collect, and update expiring worker credentials, participant documentation, and service records.
- Communication & Queries: Act as a responsive point of contact for routine queries from Disability Support Workers, participants, and families.
- Administrative Operations: Draft basic correspondence, organize audit files, enter data into client management software, and assist during busy operational periods.
- On-Call Support: Participate in the after-hours on-call roster as required.

Requirements

- Skills: Strong organizational abilities, reliable task completion, high data accuracy, and excellent phone/written etiquette.
- Systems Knowledge: Competency in standard digital platforms, email management, and spreadsheets, with the ability to learn new roster software.
- Clearances & Checks: Current Australian Driver’s Licence, NDIS Worker Screening Check, WWCC, National Police Check, and full Australian working rights.
- Qualifications: Certificate III/IV in Business, Community Services, or Healthcare, or equivalent practical experience.
- Attributes: High level of accountability, respect for participant privacy, strong professional boundaries, and a eagerness to learn.

Pay: From $38.50 per hour
