Wing Hong Foods is an established food manufacturing business based in Botany currently seeking Process Workers / Machine Operators for full time work

Job Requirements:

- Working with Pork & Duck Meat
- Visual Quality Check of products, packing into cartons and stacking onto pallets
- Assemble and operate machinery
- Cleaning duties as required – maintaining cleanliness of machinery and work area
- Manual handling up to 25kgs
- Working in a cold room environment
- Punctual, reliable, hardworking, and motivated
- Ability to work within a team, and unsupervised
- Commitment to Work Health and Safety (WHS), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Positive Hygiene Practices (GHP), and Product Quality Assurance
- Work hours from 7am to 4pm, and able to work overtime when required

Key Responsibilities

1. Receival and inspection of all purchases, coding of incoming goods and correct storage
2. Post-production cleaning and checking cleanliness
3. Advising the Factory Manager of any plant or product non-compliance
4. Checking that all materials are suitable for their intended use
5. Checking and advising on inventory levels
6. Manage the disposal of rubbish
7. Carry out or supervise normal production work,



and set up and operate machinery according to standard operating procedures and work instructions, such as:
- Mincing pork shoulder
- Dicing pork fat
- Slicing pork bellies
- Mixing and filling sausages
- Massaging pork belly and duck products
- Filling and hanging sausages, and racking massaged products
- Vacuum packing final product
- Quality checking of products

- Collate orders for deliveries
- Dispatch finished products including application of security seals and AI labels
- Fill in Production Forms and sign off position at the end of the day

Skill & Experience

Skills or Experience Required:

- Must have at least 24 months experience in a food manufacturing and process environment
- Experience using a variety of knives, hand tools, and powered equipment
- Experience assembling, operating and cleaning machinery such as mincers, dicers, mixers, slicers, sausage fillers, and thermoforming machines
- AQF Certificate III including at least two years of on-the-job training, or AQF Certificate IV (ANZSCO Skill Level 3)
