Wolper Jewish Hospital is seeking Recent Graduate Physiotherapists to commence in late January 2027. This is a rotational position providing exposure to various aspects of rehabilitative physiotherapy in a 57 bed private not for profit hospital providing medical care, rehabilitation services and palliative care.
Key responsibilities
- Provide physiotherapy services across Inpatient and Outpatient rehabilitation settings
- Work with patients across a variety of areas including orthopaedic, spinal, cardiac and other surgical procedures, neurological conditions such as stroke, Parkinson’s disease and multiple sclerosis as well as geriatric rehabilitation and palliative care.
- Deliver Outpatient Rehabilitation and Hydrotherapy services
- Conduct group exercise classes and one on one physiotherapy in a clinic style setting
- Participate in rotational placements (some include regular weekend shifts)
About you
- Hold current registration with AHPRA or be in the process of obtaining
- High level of written and oral communication together with exceptional customer and interpersonal skills
- Positive and enthusiastic attitude
- Willingness to learn
- Previous hospital/rehabilitation experience as a student (desirable)
- Experience in a hydrotherapy setting (desirable)
- Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident, or able to independently and legally live and work in Australia
