- Location: Yanco Campus or Wagga Wagga
- Salary from $76,661 - $107,032 (Lecturer 1-10) to per annum (FTE) commensurate with qualifications, skills and experience + plus super and leave loading

About the Role Tocal College is seeking a practical and experienced agricultural professional to join our team as a Non-Graduate Lecturer. This is a great opportunity to share your industry knowledge and experience while helping learners build the practical skills and confidence they need to succeed in agriculture.

In this role, you will deliver high-quality, compliant training and assessment across practical and sustainable agriculture. You will work with learners in practical training environments, contribute to the continuous improvement of training, and maintain strong connections with employers, farmers and industry to help ensure our programs remain relevant to industry needs.

We are looking for someone who brings real-world agricultural knowledge, robust communication skills and a genuine enthusiasm for developing others. Experience delivering accredited agricultural, primary production, or land management training is desirable, but the role also offers an opportunity for an experienced industry professional with relevant qualifications to bring their practical expertise into vocational education and training.

What you'll be doing

- Delivering practical, industry-relevant training and assessment in agriculture.
- Supporting students to develop their skills in a safe and engaging learning environment.
- Maintaining current industry knowledge and incorporating contemporary practices into training delivery.
- Building relationships with employers, producers and industry stakeholders to ensure programs remain relevant and meet workforce needs.
- Contributing to continuous improvement activities and compliance with vocational education and training requirements.
- Assisting with the management and maintenance of training resources and equipment.

About You As our ideal candidate, you will:

- Bring strong practical agricultural knowledge and industry experience, with enthusiasm for sharing your expertise and helping others learn.




- Communicate clearly and confidently, adapting your approach to engage and support learners with varying backgrounds, skills and experience levels.
- Build positive, collaborative relationships with learners, colleagues, farmers, employers and industry stakeholders.
- Be organised, adaptable and self-motivated, able to manage competing priorities, work independently and contribute effectively within a team environment.
- Be committed to safety, quality and continuous improvement and actively maintain current agricultural knowledge, skills and industry expertise.

To be successful you must hold (essential requirements)

- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment TAE40116 or willingness to complete
- Certificate III in Agriculture or Conservation Land Management or relevant qualification
- Current NSW Driver Licence and the ability and willingness to travel
- Current NSW Working with Children Check or the ability to obtain prior to or on appointment
