Your new role:

As Nursing and Midwifery Director, you will provide strategic, operational and professional leadership across Women's and Children's services within the Logan and Beaudesert Health Service. Working closely with executive, clinical and multidisciplinary leaders, you will drive service performance, clinical and corporate governance, workforce capability and continuous improvement across multiple sites.

Key responsibilities

Lead strategic and operational planning across Women's and Children's services.

Drive clinical governance, quality, safety, risk management and service improvement.

Lead workforce capability, resource management and sustainable service delivery.

Partner with executive and multidisciplinary leaders to deliver strategic priorities and outcomes.

About you:

You are an experienced nursing and midwifery leader with the strategic capability to lead complex services, influence across organisational boundaries and build high-performing teams. You bring strong governance, change management, financial and stakeholder management expertise.

Skills &

experience

Registered Nurse with highly developed nursing and midwifery leadership experience.

Expert knowledge of contemporary nursing, midwifery and paediatric practice.

Proven expertise in strategy, change management, governance and service redesign.

Highly developed communication, negotiation, financial and workforce management skills.

Logan Hospital is the major health centre for one of the fastest growing areas in Queensland.

We offer a range of services, including medical, rehabilitation, maternity, surgical and paediatric care.

We offer our staff and students extensive support and training in most medical specialties. As a teaching hospital, we help train future health care professionals and participate in research through strong partnerships with Queensland's leading medical schools, universities, and TAFE Queensland.

Our services will continue to grow as we build bigger and better facilities to support the community. By 2027, we'll have more beds and 5 more birthing suites as part of the Logan Hospital expansion.
