✈️ About the role: Take your Occupational Therapy career beyond the ordinary. Based in Cairns, you'll fly into the breathtaking Northern Peninsula Area and Torres Strait Islands, helping NDIS participants thrive while experiencing some of Australia's most unique communities.
This program is the first of its kind in Australia. The National Disability Insurance Agency has recognised the unique challenges of service provision in very remote areas and has partnered with TCHHS to establish Early Childhood Approach (ECA) services for communities in the Torres Strait and Northern Peninsula Area (NPA).
The purpose of this role is to provide high level Occupational Therapy assessments and supports for children and families in the identified regions utilising the NDIS Early Childhood framework and work to build capacity in the targeted communities to facilitate the inclusion of children with additional needs in everyday activities.

- Base salary comprising between $80,015 - $116,189 per annum

- Generous leave entitlements including 17.5% loading on annual leave
- Eligible health practitioners entitled to accrue an additional three days professional development leave per annum, resulting in a total of six days career development leave per annum.
