We are looking for an experienced Test Manager to lead and manage testing activities across complex projects. The role will be responsible for test strategy, project governance, stakeholder management, test planning, quality assurance, and end-to-end test delivery.

The ideal candidate will have robust experience working with project managers, business stakeholders, technology teams, vendors, and senior leadership to ensure successful delivery of testing outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

- Define and implement the overall Test Strategy and Test Approach for projects.

- Lead end-to-end testing activities across multiple project streams.

- Establish test governance, processes, standards, and reporting frameworks.

- Develop and maintain Test Plans, Test Schedules, Test Completion Reports, and Test Summary Reports.

- Manage SIT, UAT, Regression, Integration, System Testing, and other testing phases.

- Provide regular testing status reports and governance updates to project and senior management.

- Identify, track, and manage testing risks, issues, dependencies, and defects.

- Work closely with Project Managers, Business Analysts, Developers, Solution Architects, and Business stakeholders.

- Manage relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.

- Facilitate test planning, status meetings, defect triage, and governance forums.

- Ensure testing activities are aligned with project timelines, milestones, and quality objectives.

- Monitor test execution progress and ensure testing deliverables are completed on time.

- Manage test resources, including internal teams, vendors, and offshore/onshore testers.

- Provide leadership and guidance to Test Leads and Test Analysts.

- Ensure appropriate quality gates and entry/exit criteria are established and followed.

- Review and approve test deliverables and testing documentation.

- Escalate critical testing risks and issues to project governance forums.





- Support project change management and impact assessment from a testing perspective.

- Ensure appropriate test evidence and documentation are maintained for audit and compliance purposes.

Key Skills & Experience

- Experience in Software Testing / Quality Assurance.

- Proven experience as a Test Manager / QA Manager on large and complex projects.

- Strong experience in Test Management, Test Governance, and Quality Assurance.

- Excellent Stakeholder Management and Communication skills.

- Strong experience working with Project Managers and senior business/technology stakeholders.

- Experience managing SIT, UAT, Integration, Regression, and End-to-End Testing.

- Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery methodologies.

- Experience in test planning, estimation, resource management, and test reporting.

- Strong experience in RAID management, risk management, issue management, and defect management.

- Experience managing testing teams across onshore/offshore delivery models.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.

- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver within tight project timelines.

Governance & Stakeholder Management

The successful candidate will be expected to:

- Drive test governance and quality governance forums.

- Prepare testing dashboards and management reports.

- Present testing progress, risks, issues, and dependencies to senior stakeholders.

- Manage stakeholder expectations and resolve testing-related conflicts.

- Ensure clear communication between business, technology, vendors, and testing teams.

- Provide testing inputs into project governance and steering committee meetings.

Desirable

- Experience working in large enterprise environments.

- Experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, HP ALM/ALM, or similar test management tools.

- Experience with test automation and CI/CD environments.

- Experience with vendor management.

- Relevant testing certifications such as ISTQB.

- Australian project experience is highly desirable.
