The Opportunity
We’re partnering with a highly regarded law firm seeking talented lawyers across a range of levels to join its Administrative and Public Law practice in Canberra.

This is an excellent opportunity to work on complex administrative law and judicial review matters while advising and representing Commonwealth government clients. The team is well known for the quality of its work and offers a collaborative environment where lawyers are supported to develop their expertise in public law litigation.

The Role
In this role, you will work across a varied caseload of merits and judicial review matters, representing government clients in proceedings before federal courts and administrative tribunals.

Your work will involve managing the day-to-day carriage of matters, drafting legal advice and litigation strategies, preparing evidence and submissions, and assisting with court and tribunal documentation. You will also work closely with partners and senior lawyers on complex matters, instruct counsel where required, and have the opportunity to undertake solicitor advocacy in tribunal proceedings.





The role provides robust client exposure and the opportunity to build relationships while working on significant public law matters.

About You
This opportunity would suit a lawyer with experience in public or administrative law, ideally with a litigation focus. You will have strong drafting and analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and an interest in appearing before courts or tribunals as a solicitor advocate.
