Job Description
Digital Armour Corporation – North Sydney NSW
North Sydney | 3 days per week, or 4 for the right person | 6-month fixed term with a view to permanent | $110k–$155k base pro rata plus super and commission
The role
We are looking for a hands‐on sales manager who coaches and sells in roughly equal measure.
You will run the weekly rhythm, sit in on client calls, review real recorded conversations with the team, and coach on live deals.
You will also carry a substantial number of your own, at around 40 to 45 per cent of a full quota.
If you are looking to design a sales strategy and present it, this is not the role.
We need someone in the room.
About us
Digital Armour is an Australian technology and business transformation consultancy, established in ****.
We work with mid‐sized organisations across Australia, with a robust position in local government.
We sell business outcomes rather than technology: productivity, efficiency and risk reduction.
Our flagship offering, Impact40, is a results‐guaranteed managed service that guarantees a 20 to 40 per cent productivity uplift.
Deal cycles run 60 to 120 days with multiple stakeholders, including CEO, COO, CFO and procurement.
We are investing in dedicated sales leadership as the business grows.
We have a growing team and an active programme of events, partner activity and campaigns generating demand.
What you will own
The team number, and a personal number of your own
Converting the demand our events, partners and campaigns generate
The daily and weekly cadence, running without senior leadership in the room
Coaching on live deals, including recorded call reviews and role plays
Developing the team to consistent self-sourced pipeline
Pipeline quality, coverage and forecast accuracy
Pricing exceptions, hiring and contracts come to the CEO.
Everything else is yours.
What we are looking for
You have managed a small B2B sales team and personally turned underperforming sellers around.
We will ask for the detail.
You have owned a revenue number, including a period where you missed it, and can tell us what you did next.
You have sold recurring services into multi‐stakeholder buying processes with cycles of 60 days or more.
You can carry your own number and still protect coaching time when the month gets tight.
You are comfortable holding people to their commitments.
Managed services, IT services, cybersecurity or technology consulting experience is a strong advantage.
Experience selling to local government or the Australian mid‐market is valuable.
Being genuinely hands‐on is essential.
Terms
Three days per week at $110,000 to $120,000 base plus super, or four days at $145,000 to $155,000 plus super.
Commission on both team performance and your personal number, with on‐target earnings of roughly $145,000 to $165,000 at three days and $190,000 to $210,000 at four.
Six‐month fixed term with a documented review at month four against measures we agree before you start, and a view to permanent if it works for both of us.
Digital Armour is an equal opportunity employer.
Applicants must hold current Australian work rights
