About the role

This is a hands-on operational role sitting between our Sales and Yard teams. Once an order is received, you’ll take ownership of coordinating everything required to deliver it safely, accurately and on time. A standard day may require you to wear multiple hats including coordinating staff, stock, processing, suppliers, transport, collections and customer delivery requirements while keeping everyone informed and resolving issues as they arise.

You’ll also help improve our inventory systems, stock visibility, yard efficiency and dispatch processes using your own practical ideas and experience to help us work smarter as the business grows.

The role includes

- Coordinating orders from sale through to delivery
- Supervising daily yard activities and workflow
- Coordinating stock, processing, transport and collections




- Managing inventory accuracy and stock visibility
- Liaising with customers, suppliers and value adders
- Improving yard, dispatch and inventory processes
- Driving systems, digitisation and continuous improvement
- Solving day-to-day operational problems

What we're looking for

We’re looking for an experienced and trusted operator who takes ownership, stays across the detail and knows how to keep people, stock and orders moving. You’ll be comfortable working between the office and yard, coordinating multiple priorities and improving the systems and processes around you.

Ideally you'll bring

- 5+ years' experience in drilling, mining services, industrial distribution, warehousing, logistics or a related industry
- Experience coordinating orders, inventory, transport and operational workflow
- Experience supervising people and coordinating daily operational activities
- Strong inventory control and stock management experience
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
- Experience using ERP, inventory or warehouse management systems
- Demonstrated experience improving systems and processes
- Good technology skills and confidence learning new systems
- Customer service, sales support or account management experience desirable
- A practical, hands-on approach with a solid sense of ownership and accountability

Hours

Full-time Mon-Fri position based at Perth Airport.
