About the Role
As a Senior Accountant at Hismile, you will take ownership of key accounting functions, compliance, and reporting across our global operations.
You'll manage day-to-day accounting responsibilities, oversee financial processes, and provide insights that support strategic business decisions.
This role provides exposure to the commercial side of a fast-growing global business, giving you the chance to influence business outcomes, drive process improvements, and work closely with operational teams.
Key Responsibilities
Manage accounting for all entities across the Hismile Group (Australian and international), including reconciliations using Netsuite, Xero and Excel
Oversee Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable functions, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices and bills
Prepare management accounts and annual financial statements for multiple entities
Prepare periodic tax returns for all necessary jurisdictions including Australia, the United States of America,



the United Kingdom, and European Union.
Coordinate and support external audits, liaising with auditors and ensuring documentation is complete
Lead ad-hoc commercial projects and business improvement initiatives, providing actionable insights to the wider business
Analyse financial and operational data across business units to deliver recommendations that drive smarter decisions
About You
Degree qualified in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
CA or CPA qualification preferred
4+ years of practical accounting experience (including compliance, reporting, and reconciliation)
Strong analytical skills with ability to provide actionable insights
Ability to work independently while collaborating across teams
High level of professionalism and discretion when handling confidential information
Comfortable leading small projects and mentoring junior team members
Proactive problem-solver with a keen eye for accuracy and process improvement
