About the Role
Join our Palliative Care team as a Clinical Nurse, delivering compassionate, high-quality care across a range of health service settings. You'll build on your clinical experience and expertise while taking on meaningful portfolio responsibilities, supporting the development of less experienced staff, and contributing to a positive, collaborative team environment.
What We're Looking For
Essential Criteria
Registered Nurse-Midwife with 3 years' post-registration experience and current or eligible registration.
Demonstrated clinical competence and knowledge of contemporary nursing practice, standards and legislation.
Strong communication, problem-solving, conflict resolution and negotiation skills.
Ability to work independently, prioritise workloads and meet deadlines within a multidisciplinary team.
Demonstrated leadership skills, including supporting and guiding students, enrolled nurses and less experienced staff.
Desired Criteria
Palliative Care qualifications and knowledge of relevant Australian Palliative Care Standards.
Experience in quality improvement, nursing research and applying evidence to practice.
Robust teamwork and technology skills, with knowledge of the SA Public Health System and contemporary nursing issues.
