Already completing a Panel Beating or Spray Painting apprenticeship and looking for a new host employer where you can continue developing your skills? Apprenticeships Are Us is seeking motivated 2nd and 3rd Year Panel Beating and Spray Painting Apprentices to join one of our host employers in Matraville, NSW.

This is an excellent opportunity to continue your apprenticeship in a professional collision repair workshop specialising in modern and European vehicles. You'll work alongside experienced tradespeople, build on your existing skills and gain further hands-on experience with current repair techniques, refinishing processes and professional workshop equipment.

Your previous apprenticeship experience and completed training can be recognised, allowing you to continue progressing towards your qualification without starting again.

Panel Beating Apprentices

As a 2nd or 3rd Year Panel Beating Apprentice, you'll continue developing your skills across:

- Assessing vehicle body damage.
- Repairing damaged body panels and structural components.
- Removing, replacing and aligning vehicle panels.
- Straightening and reshaping damaged panels.
- Using specialised panel repair equipment and workshop tools.
- Applying modern collision repair techniques.
- Preparing repaired vehicles and panels for refinishing.
- Following manufacturer repair procedures.
- Maintaining high standards of workmanship and workplace safety.

Spray Painting Apprentices

As a 2nd or 3rd Year Spray Painting Apprentice, you'll continue developing your skills across:

- Preparing vehicle panels and surfaces for refinishing.
- Sanding, masking and priming repaired areas.
- Mixing and colour-matching automotive paints.
- Applying automotive paint and explicit coats.




- Using professional spray-painting equipment and technology.
- Polishing and finishing repaired vehicles.
- Conducting quality inspections to achieve a high-standard finish.
- Following manufacturer refinishing procedures.
- Maintaining spray equipment and a clean, professional work environment.

About You

We're looking for apprentices who are committed to completing their trade and want to continue developing their skills in a professional automotive repair environment. To be successful, you'll have:
- Current enrolment as a 2nd or 3rd Year Panel Beating or Spray Painting Apprentice.
- Previous practical experience within an automotive collision repair environment.
- A genuine passion for cars and the automotive industry.
- A robust willingness to learn and continue developing your trade skills.
- Good attention to detail and pride in the quality of your work.
- A reliable, professional and positive attitude.
- The ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
- A current driver's licence (P1 or above preferred).
