The duties of the Patient Transport Officer include the routine and non emergency transportation of hospital and community patients. Transportation can include single driver transports (no escort if appropriate), or transportation's with an appropriate escort.

Selection Criteria
1. Knowledge and experience in basic vehicle maintenance
2. Sound Geographical knowledge of the St George District
3. Excellent Communication skills
4. Current advanced first aid certificate
5. Physically fit, able to lift patients, goods and equipment
6. Solid commitment to customer service
7. Previous experience in similar role
8. Current unrestricted NSW Drivers licence
