This is a great opportunity to join an iconic family owned and operated South Australian business as a key member of our small Finance Team as our Payroll Officer working three (3) days per week. Mondays of course would be mandatory, but the other two days are versatile as to when they are worked.
This role will be accountable for the payroll function of around 64 staff and the normal transactional requirements of such a role that an experienced payroll professional would be familiar with. The annual salary will be paid pro-rata commensurate with the days/hours worked.

You will be joining a successful Team where your functional responsibilities will be to manage:
- Weekly Payroll processing , including Single Touch Payroll
- Superannuation processing
- EOFY Payroll Processes and reconciliations
- Payroll tax processing
- Setting up new employees and managing onboarding documentation
- Employee payroll and records management
- Maintaining the Payroll Software including set-up and maintenance of New Starters
- Time and attendance system
- Understanding of Awards and Award payments
- WorkCover reconciliations
- The ability to work independently, prioritise demands and meet deadlines.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment would be highly regarded but this is not essential.

- Ability to work with Micropay or similar payroll systems
- Ability and knowledge working with a time and attendance system
