Public Sector People are partnering with a Local Council in Western Sydney to recruit an experienced Payroll Officer for an immediate start contract. Contract: Up to 6 months FTC

Hourly Rate: $51 p/h Super

Hours: 35 hours per week

Start: ASAP!!

The Role Join a supportive council environment where you'll be responsible for end-to-end payroll processing, timesheet management, award interpretation, payroll reconciliations and resolving payroll queries.

About You

- Minimum 3 years' payroll experience
- Previous Local Government/Council experience essential
- Robust Authority Civica experience (Not necessary but Desirable)
- End-to-end payroll processing experience
- Confident interpreting awards and agreements
- Strong reconciliation skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
