As a result, an opportunity has arisen for an experienced HR Co-ordinator to provide practical support to managers, champion best-practice people processes and help foster a positive and engaged workplace culture. Your new role
Reporting to the General Manager, this permanent part-time opportunity offers approximately 30 hours per week across five days. This newly created role is critical to supporting the implementation of a new HR and workforce management platform while providing day-to-day People & Culture support across the organisation. You will play a key role in supporting managers, enhancing people processes and helping drive positive workforce outcomes.
Supporting the implementation of a new HR system and associated change management activities
Assisting with workforce planning, retention and succession initiatives
Coordinating employee engagement, recognition and culture initiatives
Managing end-to-end recruitment and onboarding activities
Supporting managers with employee relations matters, including disciplinary, conduct and performance management processes
Providing guidance on Enterprise Agreements, Awards, policies and employment conditions
Maintaining employee records, HR documentation and reporting
Liaising with leaders across multiple operational departments
What you'll need to succeed
Previous experience as a HR Coordinator or HR Advisor
Previous experience within aged care, healthcare or another highly regulated environment is essential
Knowledge of Enterprise Agreements, Awards and employment legislation
Proven experience managing end-to-end recruitment and onboarding processes
Experience supporting employee relations matters, including disciplinary and performance management processes
Exposure to HRIS, workforce management systems or HR systems implementation projects
Strong administrative skills, including preparing correspondence, reports and meeting documentation
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trusted relationships at all levels A proactive, collaborative and solutions-focused approach
Strong organisational skills and the ability to effectively manage competing priorities
