Zest is a people and work design agency. We help organisations get more out of their people, systems and technology through People Partnering, HR Technology & Analytics, and Work Design & Transformation.

Our clients are growing, and we're building a bench of experienced contract People Partners to work with us. This is an Expression of Interest, not a single vacancy. We'll match work to your availability and strengths as it comes up. That could mean covering a client during peak periods or leave, supporting a specific engagement, or taking on ongoing partnering work where it suits both of us.

The work

- Acting as an extension of our clients' leadership teams, giving practical, commercially grounded advice across the employee lifecycle
- Employee relations, performance management, recruitment, workforce planning, engagement and organisational change
- Spotting risks and opportunities in client organisations and helping leaders act on them
- For those interested: project work such as work design, workforce planning, organisational change or HR technology

What you'll bring

- Solid experience in HR, people and culture, or business partnering roles,



ideally in consulting or multi-client environments
- Strong working knowledge of the Fair Work Act, NES and up-to-date awards. Familiarity with WA's state system is a real plus
- The judgment to work on your own and the confidence to advise senior leaders
- Advice that fits each client rather than coming from a template
- Experience across several industries, including complex industrial environments, is valued
- Comfort with technology and AI-enabled ways of working

- You'll work as a consultant engaged by Zest
- You set your availability. Tell us how much you want to work, and we'll be upfront about what we have
- Work volume isn't guaranteed. We'll only reach out when there's a genuine fit
- You'll join a small, curious team that shares knowledge and takes pride in doing the work well
