The Receptionist is the first point of contact for clients, visitors, suppliers and staff.
The role is responsible for providing a professional, welcoming and productive reception service, supporting day-to-day office administration, and helping ensure enquiries and appointments are handled promptly and accurately.Key responsibilitiesWelcome clients, visitors, suppliers and staff and provide clear assistance on arrivalAnswer incoming phone calls, take accurate messages and direct enquiries to the appropriate person or departmentManage visitor sign-in processes and ensure reception areas are tidy, safe and professionally presentedCoordinate meeting room bookings, appointments and visitor requirementsReceive and distribute incoming mail, deliveries and courier itemsMonitor general email inboxes where required and direct enquiries appropriatelyMaintain accurate records of messages,
bookings and visitor informationCollect and collate tax invoices and enter corporate credit card transactionsEnsure complete records are entered into the company CRM and maintain accurate dataSupport office presentation by keeping reception, meeting rooms and shared areas organisedAbout youCertificate III or IV in Business Administration, Customer Service or a related field is desirableCurrent driver's licence is desirablePrevious experience in a receptionist, customer service, administration or front-desk role is desirableExperience using phone systems, email, Microsoft Office and general business systemsProfessional, friendly and confident communication styleStrong attention to detail and accuracyAbility to manage competing priorities in a busy front-office environmentReliable, punctual and well presentedAbility to handle confidential information with discretion
